I got a $100 tip once for the same exact thing. And no I'm not lying to you special people

The problem with the one sucker bronco oops guy is that he is pro uber and anti driver guy,whereas me hardcore Pats fan is pro driver. So guys are u with great Pats or with looser Broncos?

I went several miles out of my way to return a middle aged lady her phone tonight. No tip, barely a thank you. Quite entitled beyotch.

Same happend with me i drove 50 miles to bring her wallet and she just gave me a cold thanks. Im not making that mistake again.

I've really enjoyed the kind words folks left for me. I try hard to offer good and pleasant service. And I find it heart warming when it is noticed.

At the end of the day, these (pax) are people. And just kinda cool when we can bring a lil happier into the mix.

Not regularly but a few times weekly in my taxi: "You're the nicest cab driver.. You should be an Uber driver!". Or on rare occasions someone getting out of the cab telling the people getting in that I'm wonderful (or whatever).

But most riders exit sans compliment as I'm just doing my job...right?

But they do tip 90%-95% of the time, usually 15%-20%. My UberTaxi rating is very, very low, however, after hundreds of rides. Hmmm...

I got the "nicest cab driver" the other night from one or two of the girls from Faneuil Hall. I told them my taxi competition is very weak, but thanks. Then mentioned how most men (?) don't wish to be called "nice." That seened to confused them. "Nice guys finish..."

BTD, with your extensive knowledge of the city you have absolutely nothing to worry about regarding the ratings. People only rate poorly if you get lost.

This guy I picked up in Allston at 3:30am, drive him out to Bedford, 40 mins. Immediately told me how he was on a 2 day trip of acid and coke, hadn't eaten or slept. He did not shut up the whole ride. Oh and it was raining so he was bugging out seeing things in the windshield.

I've only been driving very part time since end of Nov so I only have like 6-7 compliments but I know 3 are from me returning items (near my house, no problem) and the others are good conversation....I think there's one "Thanks for letting me use your charger" lol
