Just got an email from Uber. No change in rates but an ending of the around the clock guarantees. Now they are only available during peak hours. Not that I care, I don't drive for Uber at these rates except to keep my account active (once ride a week or so). But the ending of the guarantees with the rates staying the same is something everybody on here saw coming. Here is the email:
xxxxxx, since the Winter Warmup launched, we've seen a boost in ridership and partner earnings have successfully increased above current guarantee amounts.
Starting tomorrow, to encourage driving when riders need you the most, we're ending off-peak guarantees and increasing your existing peak guarantees so you'll make even more during the best hours.
