I'm old school, I've yet to ask the pax for a preferred route and always follow Waze no matter what, works great. If they want to follow a specific route, they always tell me right away before I move the car. At least it's always been this way for me so far. As for nominees, surprisingly, NONE this week. I've received a 1 or 2 1-star's, but I clearly don't understand why. Everyone seemed friendly enough or just typically quiet. Oh well, nothing new. INTERESTING pax included 1) Woman who got hit by a lightning while driving her car on the highway (car was a write off) and 2) A girl dumb as a brick who I clearly picked up from a "client" (male name on my app) to deliver her back to a very well known stripper joint while she called it a "bar", little did she know I've been there twice.

I have a power liftgate and would love just to push the button to open and then to close it.

However, as I mentioned above, I don't do that for two principal reasons:
1) I have to fold down the third row in order to free up space for luggage.
2) I prefer to control the process of what's and how it's being loaded and unloaded to my vehicle. I'm very meticulous when it comes to scratches and overall condition. And, knowing most people just don't care about it and drag and throw the bags or whatever "As is". Well, that's not going to happen in my car.

I'm with you on this... I got really pissed this weekend when I picked up a biz traveler at the Intercontinental Hotel for a short ride to Billy Bishop. This guy had the nerve to throw his wheeled carry-on bag on my leather seats and thought nothing of the fact that his wheels left dirt tracks on them. One Star!!

I actually had a similar experience just before the NY. I arrive to pick up a woman with a carry on suitcase on wheels. I offer my help in putting it in the trunk, but she says - don't bother and DRAGS the thing all over my second row leather seats (which are in immaculate condition). And when I was dropping her off, she dragged it all the way out. People don't have a slightest respect towards other people's property.

I actually reported her to Uber and Uber offered me a compensation for it if I would be able to provide a receipt from a leather professional on how much it cost to repair. Unfortunately that had to be done within 5 days and I could not find a single place I could get it done on NY - everything was closed.

I mean, would you look at this mess?

One star from me. Not that it matters.

Agreed. I have a slightly older RAV4 were the back door swings out like a regular car door and it swings out far. I don't want pax handling it in case they hit something with it.

My seats are gray cloth and every mark shows up. Whenever I see pax with big bags or allot of stuff, I immediately get out and open the trunk door and put the bags in myself. Not so much for customer service but to make sure their crap doesn't scratch or dirty-up my interior.

So there should be a way in the app that detects you are stationary and waiting time increases. Last night had lady picking up her dad's birthday cake. Hadn't ordered it. Needed it decorated. 18 mins waiting and then 23 km drive but waiting time not sufficient on its own.

That sucks. For real damage.

Thursday night I am drooping a PAX at 401 & Bathrust area, as soon as I drop the PAX I get another ping before I can rate them. Anyhow I accept and head down to pick up the PAX, this is like at 2AM I get to the PAX resident she says she wants to go the 711 down the road WTF, anyhow she says can you wait for me and end the trip. 2 mins later I get a Ping for an XL - I head out as fast as I can.......let the PAX wait at the 711.

Good job man.

There is absolutely no way the amount bags would have fit an XL car (or even UberSUV) with the third row. You don't have to be a genius to understand that.

I expect them not to be dоuchеbags and order XL. Just like I would do.
I've decided that it would be less stressful if I expect all of my pax-90% in any event-to be ******bags, that way I can be pleasantly surprised at least once a day if I'm lucky.
