Of "your" fare?

No, you got your cut to what you agreed to. You are paid your BASE FARE + 75% of the MILEAGE + 75% of the TIME. The other charges Uber makes the pax pay is their's, which is not our's, nor did we agree to any portion of that money. They take 25% of the Mileage and Time, plus 100% of their booking fees.

All drivers who've signed up since 2016 (99% of all drivers) are paid .86/.81/.1275

The above numbers are the true wage we're paid as "independent contractors"

Show me where on uber's website or literature where it states those numbers. It doesn't.

Go to any Greenlight Hub and ask what the pay rate is. No one will quote the above numbers

No one will mention upfront pricing either

The only numbers that will be quoted are the customer "list" prices of 1.15/1.08/.17 of which uber charges a 25% "service fee"

The California Supreme Court decision could cause the entire corrupt rideshare house of cards to fall

The posters who criticize topics such as this one as being "old news", or "what else is new", or "this topic has been posted a zillion times" don't seem to realize or maybe don't care that this website gets new visitors 24/7.

Some of the new visitors know little to nothing about what's going on in the rideshare business, and thus aren't gonna look up the topic of uber's outrageous cuts in the search engine. And that's assuming the visitor know how to use a search engine, and that the search engine works properly (which they sometimes don't). Some people are too lazy or whatever to use search engines.

Also, there's a tendency with lots of people (including some of the critics) to only scan the first page of topics on a website like this.

Some visitors may be from the media or govt, such as the recent poster who works for the DC govt.

If frequently repeating important topics such as this helps get the message out to the govt and public, then the redundancy is well worth it.

And for those who are annoyed by those threads, simply don't read them.

Did I miss where people were making such a complaint about this being old news on this topic? Or is this preemptive?
Yeah, you missed one of the previous posters who said there's nothing new with this topic.

Check out other threads on this topic and you'll see plenty of annoyed responses about it being old news.
