......and STILL i cannot get ANY UBER SUPPORT
The story:
My account was placed on hold while I chased up my National Crime Check
Finally after 2 weeks .the clearance came through today
I got in to LOG ON and pop up tells me
' New drivers require a NEW extensive background check before doing my FIRST DRIVE for uber '
They are 13,000 fares too late.so i call uber support
EVENTUALLY I get put through to an INDIAN CALL CENTRE (not the normal Phillipines centre )
I EXPLAIN my issue FIVE SEPERATE TIMES
response is the same " I am sorry to hear you are having problems .it must be quite stressful for you but How can we help?""
Eventually ASHITA tells me this needed to be handled by a higher department
" okay put me through "
' no someone will email you '
I AM ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW . You dont understand the problem. NOPE BRICK WALL
I go through the trouble shooting steps several times
I uninstall reinstall app TWICE
eventually .I supmit an enquiry and email reply comes back ' ALL NEW DRIVERS must pass knowledge exams before commencing their career with uber "
I respond. I get given steps to sign in THEY FAIL
a further 4 emails and replies
EACH reply tells me that my query has been SOLVED by previous agent so they are CLOSING the ticket
HELP!!!
I wish UBER would sack customer support and ACTUALLY HELP!
PS i am neither a new driver. Nor does my training modules require attention.thry were done recently and I can't find anything on the account to access
