UBer support incompetence reaches NEW HIGH

......and STILL i cannot get ANY UBER SUPPORT

The story:

My account was placed on hold while I chased up my National Crime Check

Finally after 2 weeks .the clearance came through today

I got in to LOG ON and pop up tells me

' New drivers require a NEW extensive background check before doing my FIRST DRIVE for uber '

They are 13,000 fares too late.so i call uber support

EVENTUALLY I get put through to an INDIAN CALL CENTRE (not the normal Phillipines centre )

I EXPLAIN my issue FIVE SEPERATE TIMES

response is the same " I am sorry to hear you are having problems .it must be quite stressful for you but How can we help?""

Eventually ASHITA tells me this needed to be handled by a higher department

" okay put me through "
' no someone will email you '

I AM ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW . You dont understand the problem. NOPE BRICK WALL

I go through the trouble shooting steps several times

I uninstall reinstall app TWICE

eventually .I supmit an enquiry and email reply comes back ' ALL NEW DRIVERS must pass knowledge exams before commencing their career with uber "

I respond. I get given steps to sign in THEY FAIL

a further 4 emails and replies

EACH reply tells me that my query has been SOLVED by previous agent so they are CLOSING the ticket

HELP!!!

I wish UBER would sack customer support and ACTUALLY HELP!

PS i am neither a new driver. Nor does my training modules require attention.thry were done recently and I can't find anything on the account to access

Yep it keeps saying to me that my insurance is about to expire and I've uploaded it several times and it still hasn't cleared.

I initiated a chat session and uploaded it to them and they say it's approved and don't worry about it. So we will see in a few days.

I think with the new app update they either missed something or they are taking this opportunity to cull the herd of certain drivers for whatever reason.

I have now been sent the training modules i did 6 months ago

I have also now completed the modules 6 times over still no progress

1 uber support stated " your account should update immediately if no change in 24-48 hours please contact support'

2 uber support stated ' normally the completed quiz takes 24 -48 hours to update results.if nothing changes after 48 hours please contact uber support "

I lease my car.i can't work or earn money till they fix this and now want me to wait a further 2 days ?

That's 5 days of bills with no capacity to work

The only thing I can think of is that their new matrix is slightly incompatible with their new matrix and its showing cases of deja vu.

And no one should be trusting these flaky gig companies as a main income source because they don't care. As soon as they have too many drivers signed up they lower the pay as to discourage anyone from continuing. Just to stay at home and wait for the notification to come in if it's going to be busy or not, for me it's only one day a week.

USA times are tuff right now about to start raking leaves again instead of Uber hopefully by mid Nov it will pick up again with airport runs etc kids leaving college for holiday break and I'm gonna try and deliver alot of Chinese food this Christmas
