Uber accounts for rent on Facebook

I'm surprised I have not seen any discussion across the parts of Uberpeople.net I browse about this article published yesterday.

Maybe most know about the issue by now, but figure nothing they can do about fake drivers and deliveries, so why get all worked up abut it?

Maybe as long as nothing happens to them or their loved ones on rides and their food isn't tampered with, they feel they can't worry about it even though it likely depresses earnings?

It concerns me, though. First officially became aware when the NY Post and NYT did stories on it in September 2024.
