Hi guys, Something very strange is happening to me. in past 72 hours i have received 4 reports, now i have 6 f***in reports and i feel so insecure. to things happened by the way during this 3 days:

on Sunday i made a mistake, i accepted a ride request and instantly started the trip while the pax was far away from me. i contacted the guy, did apology, and told him i will cancel the ride and uber will refund you within 2-3 days. the guy was happy and said no problem. then when i told same to uber, they refunded the guy, and replied me nicely that thanks for your honesty and bla bla.

today morning i received a uber pool request, the lady which was my first pax, made me wait in front of her house for 5 minutes, I had no other pax to pick up at the moment and i already flagged for for low accept rate. so i waited for her. she came with 4 piece, 3 bag and 1 box. i put the box in the trunk and asked her if she want to put other bags there also, she said no. then when i started the trip i figured out that she didn't enter the address correctly, only eglinton west. i asked he which number you want to go, can you enter it on the app? she said number 32. i entered it on my gps device. then i received another ride request. i picked him up and doped him and then asked her, you were going to number 32 eglinton, right? she said yes, it is eglinton and allen road!! wtf! number 32 is going to be near yonge intersection. i didnt even talk to her, just corrected my gps and headed there. you know there is a construction at eglinton and allen road. she wanted to go to ttc station i guess, and i was heading east. right at the intersection she asked me to stop. i said i cannot stop here you have box in the back and there are cars behind me. then i stopped in 10 meter after that. i reported her to uber and rated her 1.

now on Sunday i have received 2 reports , 1 for navigation, and for professionalism: attitude. today i have received 2 more: 1 for professionalism: attitude and 1 vehicle quality::appearance/cleanliness

WTF is this shit? i was so kind to her. corrected her destination without even telling her, opened the door, carried her box to the sidewalk, gave here mint, all despite that she was a shitty poo pax, right? what else should i do? now i have 6 reports!! 4 of them in past 3 days.

and that 2 of reports is professionalism: attitude. I'm always kind and gentle to every pax, if they are shitty, i dont say anything to them but "its alright", "its ok"and smile but i give them 1 star and may report them after i drop them off.

and the cleanliness thing! i took my car to luxury car wash just on last Friday, i heard a lot from people that my car looks like new and smells good (it is 2009 though).

yesterday when i received the first two reports i went to Scarborough office, to ask about reports and the insurance issue. the guy said reports are just feedback, it tells you what is wrong, and while you dont repeat them its not going to be serious issue especially when my rating is not very bad (4.67) and it is above the average. but today i received 2 more reports.

I was a courier service a while ago, i leaved that job because i had a very low income there. but now i feel so insecure with uber. I dont know, maybe uber staff want to kick me out as i had too many communications with uber, at least 2 times s a week i contacted uber for different issues.

or something may changed in ubre riders app (i dont have and never used) which may when riders rate anything less than 5 star they have to put a reason for that?! or uber picked me up and surveyed my paxes as s a 'case study'?!?! do i need a psychiatrist now? why i receive 2 reports daily!? whats wrong with me? should i find a new job? if you have same experience with these reports/feedbacks i appreciate if you let me know

Hey don't worry man feedback is good for you so you won't do it again. Now why on earth you waiting 5minute for poo? 2 minutes maximum
Don't start the meter before pax here. Watch your ratings that's most important. Clean car. iPhone cable aux cable smile eye contacts. Don't drive like maniac. Though they pay 3?bucks except us to be A380 pilots safe landing
Don't panic. Just don't accept poo unless it's over 1. 8 surge

To keep your ratings you cannot do Pool requests, Pool trips are always problematic. As well when you communicate with Uber on the phone it is from the Philthipines and reps are quota based customer service, they have completely off shored all their customer service. They have very poor social skills and they'll basically screw you and get rid of your file ASAP. Just say yes or no to questions and do not elaborate. The less explaining the better and make sure you apologize even if it was not your fault. If you suspect a potential bad rider always trust your gut and cancel before the passenger gets in the car. Also steer clear of millennial hangouts in the late evening. Many riders are now mixing blast, tribe and spirits and many have weak stomachs. Best to go home early in the evening, especially if your a new driver.

First of all bro, take a deep breath it's ok, especially since your car is a 2009. The Mother ship needs you more than you think, your job is safe. Nothing is wrong with you except of course that you chose to drive for Uber, but that's a story for another day over a beverage.

In future, you can always ask the pax if they have a short cut (as long as it's not poo) that you will take it or if you should just follow the GPS. Seriously man stop panicking, take a deep breath. You're fine.

Not much can be said on cleaning your already clean car or your "professionalism: attitude", but you definitely can do something about that poo ride so it doesn't happen again. Many here have already posted that accepting poo is hazardous to your ratings and that does not even consider if it is worth your while financially to give poo rides. So try to ignore those if you don't want further hit to your ratings. These poo pax are the most entitle bunch, want Luxury service for the price of peanuts. Nothing will make them happy.

You also need to spread things around so you're not on any one of Uber's "hit lists". You said you didn't want to cancel due to your low acceptance. Acceptance and completion rates are two different things. You already accepted the ride, that won't hurt your acceptance rating anymore. If you cancel due to pax no show after 2 min, you following the rules, you get paid, you teach pax a lesson to be ready, your acceptance rate not hurt, but this cancel will go against your completion rate, which is something you're not in trouble for.

That, my friend, is why we veteran drivers don't accept Poo requests. Poo pax are the dooshiest dirt bags you will have the misfortune of carrying...as you have just found out the hard way. I would much rather have Uber do the 15 minute forced log off on me than carry these wretched low-lifes in my car. It's not worth it.

This past Sunday I was driving. After like 3-4 rides, I saw reported issues on my app. They were probably from the past few days. --The app has been updated so a lot have changed.--

I saw a couple of dangerous driving, late arrival, attitude, Mistimed trip.

The kicker is that I drive the speed limit most of the times, and maybe 10 km above on the suburb roads, if traffic permits. I don't start the trip till all the riders are in the car and I get the right vibe from them, incase if i have to throw them out. And I always get to the rider before the ETA.

One thing is I don't let ppl smoke, drink in my car. And i have an idea who the ***** was who might have reported the attitude issue.

So don't sweat these issues. It's all bullcrap.

Cheers

To drive Uber you need to chill out. Listen to some jazz should do it for you and your pax. I'm assuming you are a new driver so those 'reports' are just Uber's way of 'reminding' or 'conforming' you to the way they want you to drive. Don't worry about them so much.

I had 4 reporting, it was there for 3 months, few days back its all gone. I have done no more than 10 trips in last for 3 months.
I dont know what I did.
Please let it be known that these reports are MERE SUGGESTIONS from uber to keep drivers on the straight and narrow. They are not actual events or reports from riders. Uber constructs and words these report to scare drivers. This is the only contact Uber has with drivers. It is best to just ignore them and not let these bother you. Yes this is true. This is UBER.

I drive primarily in another city and sometimes in Toronto. My observation is that majority of Uber paxs in Toronto are rude. They rate low too with bad comments.

And if I find that the GPS is taking me through a loop thereby increasing my ETA, I'll politely ask pax to cancel and call another. I'll tell pax that I ain't in a position to risk low rating

superdooper is telling you like it is. No show after 2 min for pool, 5 min for X

The longer you wait the longer the pax will make the next driver wait.

Do yourself and the rest of us a favor and cancel no show when the pax is a ho!

Hey Uberian dont worry. Just go missing for a month. Dont worry pax are always right. Just be more polite and say thank you even when you get kicked to the curb

Don't worry, some of us have it much worse than you do and are still powering through.

Check out my rap sheet... :p

All but 2 of the attitude reports were within the past week.
You are hard core UBER ignorance. So fare I have 2 professionalism and 1 navigation from my first month. I nipped stuff in the bud. But with Lyft I get a safe driving or navigation every week or so. Either Lyft app makes it easier to complain or Lyft riders have higher expectations... :)
