Just recently got reported by a rider that I sexually assaulted them...that's horsesh*t. There should be a way that we can fight against this shit. And these riders that think they can mess with my livelihood like that are true scum of the earth.

This might be a good reason not to let women sit in the front seat. If they accuse you of touching, it might be hard to disprove even with a camera.

She wasn't in the front seat, in my case anyway. She claimed she was.
My old cam was cheap and poor quantity but fortunately good enough. Showed her in the back and the audio picked up the few words i had said..... Hi, how's it going... right here okay? & have a good one.
That was it.
I'm not letting women sit in the front seat anymore. The camera can't cover that far down for inappropriate touching claims like I touched her leg. I've let a few prostitute gold digger types sit in the front seat before. No more. These false accusation claims are scary. The women who make them need help.

Nothing this ***** said was true except that I gave it a ride. The support investigator had a detailed conversation that supposedly took place. She read it to me after I submitted my video. It was 100% fabrication. The only things I said is what I wrote in the other post. The support person said she told the ***** that I had video and once it was reviewed, she would be in contact for the next steps. The ***** stopped replying. 😆 🤣

This is from when I mounted the cam on the bottom of my rearveiw mirror. I've moved it, I now have it on the upper passenger side windshield. I don't have any video saved my phone right now, but I'll download something later. Gets very good coverage. I also remove the headrest on the pax front seat for better back seat coverage.
I have two in my car, I like the @Coxpal much better, but saw no reason to uninstall the blackvue.
Here's the coverage on it, inside cam is mounted on top of the rearveiw.
If I were to reach over to a pax it would be obvious. My hand (or hers) could be on my junk, and not on video, or something but I'll take that chance. I feel i am protected enough
I'm really not sure how much the other cam actually covers me now, I will check in the near future.

I received a "driver acted inappropriately" complaint. Yeah, I did. Heavily tatted scantily clad women got in. Asked her if she was headed to work. She said she was headed to get another tattoo. I asked her if she has any in "intimate" areas. I was simply going to ask her how the tattoo artist handles that kind of request. She kind of shut it down immediately and the rest of the ride was silent. Don't care. If you get into my car with nearly your entire 44DD breasts showing and your body tatted to the nines, then don't be triggered so easily. I'm a MAN DAMMIT!

Except that Uber not only won’t accept the video they won’t even tell you which ride it was so you can find the video.

This is the same guy (Atavar) who've used food wrap to partition his rear cabin because of COVID and now he's inferring the use of a dash cam, which is a well known deterrent to scummy pax with their filthy lies, that it isn't useful to the driver. In his world food wrap was the secret sauce to stop COVID global transmissions. He would have evidence for that if he had a dual dash cam.
@That Guy in Tampa Uber may initially drag their feet but all you need to do is save all videos around the alleged accusation, notate all trips taken around the same time, match up said videos of trips to trip history (this is why it's important to repeat pax name & destination on dash cam) and save it until you make your next move. I assure you Uber or the pax or both will bend.

Sigh. Not at all true.
For a stupid my driver was rude complaint they won't. For a serious complaint, one that involves an investigation, they will. They will tell you what ride, the claim the pax is making and will accept & watch your video.
Regardless of what Uber does, the police / state prosecution will watch it. That's what you really need to have one for.
