I wouldn't recommend that cause then if you fall under 85% acceptance rate you won't know if the ride is short until you start the ride. Imagine you go your way 10 to 15 miunutes to pick up a ride in heavy traffic just to find out it is a 6 minutes ride going to Penn Station; I would be super mad.
That is only in New Jersey I believe you guys still do not have upfront pricing with upfront pricing no matter what you're eating is everybody knows exactly where pickup and drop off is

are you sure I have the same problem for a ling time! I got maybe more than 10 trips less than five minutes and 1 mile and all of them under 5.39 USD that’s incredible. I call support but they have no idea what I’m talking about or they don’t wanna get the idea of what I’m saying.
Positive. 3 times they adjusted my fare. And the last one (it was yesterday) they said in 48 hours all fares will be corrected.

Uber has never done upfront price in NYC, they only did upfront pricing on resevartions and even that was taken away. Now Uber only shows you the miles on the reservation. Here If you can´t keep at least a gold status and 85% acceptance you are out in the blue.

This is fuber's response to city's new congestion fee. Every time city hits fuber with something they compensate it by lowering driver pay. Remember our fare structure was like: base+time+distance? Fuber removed "base" after city implemented UR formula and now this, they lowered a minimum trip payment for drivers. Keep in mind that it's not regulated by city and fuber can do whatever they want. They can reduce rates on XL, Black and SUV to the minimum mandatory pay rates if they think it's needed.

Absolutely, they always try to screw us. I live about 70 miles north of the city and used to take people there all the time I have not taken one person to New York in the last two years and probably never will again it is just not worth it. Congestion pricing is really going to screw the driver I'm sure. Just like we have to pay our tolls on the way back I drop off anybody in Brooklyn or Queens it's $20 and tolls on the way back I don't know why anybody would take these rides
