For passengers. What drivers go through when they call Uber support

I had a ride that started with no passenger. When I realized it I canceled the ride and contacted Uber to refund the fair.
Okay in spite of explaining this I was on messenger with Uber for 45 minutes during rush hour trying get this passenger's money back. Yes I do it again I'm a professional even when I'm driving Uber.
As a passenger you need to realize it's sometimes takes a lot to get things right. Appreciate your drivers.

Isn't there the option in the driver app to refund the fare due to driver error?

It was there before, did they remove it?

It's hard to locate, buried. Have to have the affected trip selected and look through Help.

There are a whole bunch of buttons and that is one of them. However instead of simply refunding the fare you get connected with Uber support and have to deal with the script jockeys. Basically it took about 40 minutes to explain that I need less money.
The best part it was caused by the new app upgrade. Sigh

Uber can figure it out by themselves.
