Get their answer in writing before you spend money.
Then when you find out they lied you can sue them.

 

Uber just removed Camry from 2nd tier Comfort. They'd never be a black vehicle. Only X now.
I just made the switch for gas savings of a few thousand at minimum over a year with other driving and traveling I do.
Not 1 Toyota is black, only some upgrade to Lexus are.
Unless you're in some special location that worships Camrys.
Somehow the Corolla cross suv was left on comfort with 3 to 6 inches less space.

A. Vehicle qualifications differ from one city to the next. If you don't provide the city you're in, you won't get an accurate response from Uber or anyone else on which cars qualify for which rides.

B. There is likely no city where a Toyota sedan qualifies for Uber Black.

C. Never purchase a car specifically to do a certain ride type for Uber. They are well known for switching which cars qualify later on, resulting in you being cut off from that ride type with no recourse but to go out and purchase a different vehicle - which usually ends up being a loss financially.

Uber black is top tier... camry is not top tier. Think audi mercedes bmw must be black with black leather interior.

You might qualify for comfort trips depending on your city.

I don't think we've ever seen a PROPER XL vehicle (with 7 total seats) get delisted off XL ever without getting completely aged out from everything.

 

Think about it. As a customer, if you’re paying premium prices, do you expect a Camry to show up, or would you rather see a black Suburban or a Cadillac Escalade?
