Destination Filter

The Destination Filter is inconsistent on my app. Several times I've set Destination and I end up 50 miles further from home at 4:30 am, scared to accept the next trip coz it will take me 20 miles further - all the time "Destination is ON." These are rough trips - with my red eyes and getting fresh chatty riders going to the airport.

Help me understand? Sometimes when I set it, the app asks me "What time do you want to arrive?" I set it, and the filter doesn't do anything, but I get told I have "0 Destinations Left."

Other times the time to arrive does not appear, it just says "Destination Set." And it seems to work.

And I do not get 2 Destinations every 12 hours that reset at midnight. I get "1" every 12 hours.

Anyone else? Am I doing something wrong?

Also, my understanding is that we get priority over other drivers when we use the filter? I haven't really seen that?

I think the purpo

ummmm, ...no!

From Uber:

When you set a Driver Destination in your app, we'll try and match you with trip requests from riders going towards that destination.

Note that using this feature might limit the number of requests you receive since you'll only be matched with trips going near a route to your destination.

HOW OFTEN CAN YOU SET A DESTINATION?

A Destination can be set twice a day, and your count will reset every day at midnight. Unused Destinations will not carry over to the next day. However, Destinations set before midnight that continue through the next day will only count for the original day.

If you complete multiple trips on the way to your Destination, it still only counts as one Destination use. Cancelled trips do not impact the number of times you can set your Destination.
