So, because I am an Uber partner aka Driver, I feel like people see me as some guy who sees himself as entitled. I don't think my clients really give a shit about Uber. I think they use it because either the cars are cleaner, the price is cheaper, the service is more reliable for short unprofitable trips. I am treated like the fool in this equation. I don't feel like anyone really wants to associate with me. Under Lyft, the image is weird too. You get a lot of people who don't want to socialize and look at you like you're some freak who wants to be their friend. It's amazing, and this is why it is important for Uber to reflect an accurate image of what they really are, rather than a fake image which is what they strive to display now, and they call it "marketing", "brand ambassadors", "blah blah blah". Call it what you want, I call it being fake and I call you ******* for putting on a front and shoving the face of fakeness onto drivers who just want to drive. I don't want to inherit the results of the arrogant entitled image you have, Uber. Clients think I am your happy little employee. I don't give a shit about you, Uber. You are not special to me and I want riders to stop assuming I think you are special to me. I also want riders to stop thinking they have to pretend to approve of you, when I'm sure deep down they really do not give a single ****.
