The UBER app shows my car as light green, but it's actually dark green. Sometimes a pax will be looking directly at me, but not seeing what he's looking for. This discrepancy often makes pickups more difficult than they should be.
I've reported this problem to UBER Help several times, but no change in the car picture in the app. I was told that the car's VIN specifies the color. But it says Silica Green, which is a dark color. I have even sent a photo to prove that the app is wrong. Apparently, the Help techs are not coding techs, so can't override the automatic image selection.
Since most pax can discriminate colors much better than brands & models, a wrong color is misleading.
Has anyone else had this problem? Should I post this under COMPLAINTS ?
