So yesterday I was entering the entrance to harrahs off lvb. You know the ONE WAY entrance and sure enough there’s a cab 🚕 going the wrong way trying enter lvb. And he want ME to back up ! No effing way ! Finally he backs up enough for me get around and roll my window down and yell - your going the wrong way down a one way .. you dumb f-ck! And then apologize to my passenger for the language , she giggled - no you’re perfectly alright. Then monkey 🙉 see monkey 🙊 do three more cars are following the cab 🚕! So glad cabbies are getting professional driving training at companies Pretty sure those lanes are marked fairly well as- do not enter.

 

Was that genius a third world refugee?

 

DISCLAIMER WORD SALAD 🥗 AHEAD NOT FOR THE SQEMISH -Ok to be clear with screenshots for proof the signage or the intentions of harrahs of anything BUT CLEAR AND OBVIOUSLY MARKED in fact it’s a complete mystery and very confusing and downright dangerous. After having a trip today dropped off there I took a little time to take a closer look 👀 and apparently ( because it’s not obvious at all) the intention of the property is the southbound left hand turn entrance is not to be used entering harrahs at all BUT THERE IS NO SIGNAGE, NO DO NOT ENTER SIGNAGE AT ALL NOTHING NADA ZIP , FURTHER MORE LEFT HAND SOUTHBOUND TURN ON LVB.IS INDEED OPEN WITH CONES CLEARLY PULLED ASIDE TO LET VEHICLES DO SO , if it’s the city/ county intention for that to be only a used for u -turns only there is NO SIGNAGE, NONE ZIP NADA setup to indicate that intention , furthermore harrahs would and should have signage indicating that is a exit only now with proper do not enter signage BUT THERE IS NOTHING NADA ZIP . Leading to some confusion BECAUSE for much longer than two years but closer or more than five years that entrance was used for EASTBOUND TRAFFIC ONLY. Now if harrahs wants to switch it up and change things that fine but do it properly with signage that is

obvious and clear which it isn’t. It looks like their intention is for northbound traffic is aloud to use that entrance turning right off lvb. Heading east. To be fair with one poster there is faded arrows on pavement indicating two way traffic in tunnel that has been there far prior to to those lanes being turned into one way eastbound only lanes only. And there is signage indicating that the northbound entrance is one way as well and there needs to be same do not enter signage for other entrance perhaps in time harrahs will pull their heads out there asses and get it right and city/ county as well indicating that southbound left turn is u- turn only or PROPERLY block it off completely not even pull in that lane. SCREENSHOTS clearly shows there no room for two traffic at those entrances and is indeed a accident waiting to happen due to it being ANYTHING BUT CLEARLY MARKED AND OBVIOUS and my passenger was the one who first time mentioned that has always been a one way eastbound traffic entrance being a frequent harrahs client. Oh … look 👀 here’s the entrance in question as one poster on this thread posted that it was CLEARLY MARKED AS TWO WAY .but where’s this clear and obvious marking??? The entrance here is the one I entered the other day — is any DO NOT ENTER, EXIT ONLY SIGNAGE??? NOPE NADA ZIP ZERO makes me wonder a poster would resurface only to take veiled pot shot at my character??yes I rolled down my yelled at cab driver , same way as anyone of good moral character yells at somebody going 50 mph.down your residential street with kids/ pets unknowingly playing in out of the streets. And thanks to harrahs lack of responsibility there’s no way other than word of mouth that once one way for many years much longer than just linq construction that they now made it into a two way . And these six figure ceos at harrahs are supposed to be ever watchful for potential liability, so that once one entrance has now turned into a way exit only ( because there’s clearly no room for two opposite directions vehicles) but yet there’s no signage at all warning ⚠ drivers that it’s completely changed and that a head on collision is possible if drivers continue using it way have they have been for better than ten years. But wait!! Maybe these ceos who suppose to be mindful of multimillion dollar liability law suits want drivers to play a game of chance ( this is Vegas after all) a game of chicken 🐔 or likely a game Russian roulette because with that southbound left hand turn open there’s going to be a head on in that spot and it doesn’t take a high rate of speed to do a lot of damage to cars and person.

 

I didn’t resurface just to take a shot at you. I just pictured you driving head first, the wrong way into oncoming traffic, and then yelling at the driver who was doing everything correctly. It just seemed ironic.

And just by looking at the last picture in post 19, it looks clearly marked. You should never cross solid lines. White solid lines denote traffic heading in the same direction, and yellow lines denote two way traffic. This is not new paint… been like this for years.

 

So FYI - a conversation a had today with harrahs valet - so have you worked at this property long? Since 2010 when did they switch from a one way eastbound only to a two way , about four months ago around the mid February. He added , I found out almost having a head on collision myself, management never said word about the change no memo nothing. I reply that’s pretty much what happened to me . He says everyone is discovering the change the same either encountering opposite direction drivers or seeing drivers at valet making that right heading west. And there’s a huge issue when the left hand southbound turn is open for access but management could care less. How long has been a one way before the change? At least since he has worked there so 13 years! That’s 13 years!! At least ! Now as usual when information disputes erupt on here this post is NOT directly at any one poster. It’s just a straight out FYI for everyone since there’s differing opinions but not differing facts.
