pax don't have to tip and it's because many do that my earnings are anywhere near what they are.. I get a lot of tips..

as sad as it is.. tipping pax make up for the highway robbery uber commits against their partners.. its certainly not an even recovery by any means but it sure helps a lot..

so I made it a point a long time ago to make sure I thank each rider who tips through the app.. I also believe it helps the next driver potentially get that tip from the riders I thank.. just a suggestion if you're taking your tips for granted..
I always send a thanks, even for the $1 ones.

Question for you: you get a lot of tips, what percentage of your fares do they add up to. Over the long haul tips are 11% of my fares. I do work the late nights and I'm near a college campus so that puts a damper on tips but I'm always curious to know what percentage others are able to operate at. I know that there ar some folks who are able to consistently pull in 20%, part is them part is probably the type of rides they take.
