Everyone needs a hobby. Plus there's the community service benefit.
I actually did community service twice in a row-

old lady with BAGS of groceries for a ride I could SEE (through uber x vision in the bay) that the trip was LESS thAN A MILE- from the damn grocery store to her house, (and HELPED her load and unload) - 0 tip. $3.95 <-----

THEN!!

Took a lady to the dmv it was CLOSED she was freezing and BROKE and I took her back for free (old spanish woman)

THEN!!! exactly 72 hours later I got a $75.00 airport ride and a $20.00 dollar tip. Yum.

Market research for my serial killing hobby.
Epic. (Almost for the win)

100% flexible and nearly 100% stress free.
Flexible is probably the biggest reason I suckle Uncle Gryfft's tit

I actually enjoy meeting the people.. but please don't get it twisted... I'm not going to do it for free. I will be making money if I'm gonna do it ..

Always kinda cool to hear where people are from and how they ended up in my car...

I do it for the flexibility mainly! But also like driving, meeting new people, seeing new places, finding out about great restaurants and making friends. Also I kinda like how aggresive some females are to get my number.

I do it because I can use the extra $$. I like driving around listening to music, I like most of the people, and I like being manipulated by the app and chasing unicorns. It’s like a slot machine.

Driving to music I LIKE is probably one of the most satisfying parts.

I do it for the money and the illusion of meeting and marrying a beautiful woman. lol
You will someday, by law of averages.

I've had members of BOTH sexes (yes there are only two,) hit on me.

I do it for fun. But when traffic is awful. I refuse. Even been a month behind on rent before from a strike that lasted weeks. Cause you couldn’t do anything to get to pax. It was useless.

Love the conversations and interactions. Met really cool people, hard working/studying. Many many people out there doing it everyday. Just unlike us.

We get to pick and choose. Yes I’m picky. But usually is a cool ride now days giving a ride into night in DT at a amazing skyline. Maybe even seeing the sunset or sunrise at times.

This is the best part of the job, knowing where I’m gonna be all night long! 😎

  1. Desperately needed to be out of the house and socializing. Moved to the city, RS was the easiest way to accomplish that.
  2. Flexibility, although that can also be an issue (schedules can be helpful).
  3. No idiotic supervisor breathing down my neck.
  4. Freedom of the open road. I love driving and exploring.
  5. Every day is an unknown, never know where I'll end up or who I'll meet.

These are actually very good reasons.
