What you do is go to the Logan lot then into the limo building. On like a bulletin board in there is dudes renting there SUV's out for around 600 a week so yes 2400 a month!! This qualifies as a black car as well, so you would likely make more money but all your expenses are going to be higher. Your not going to beat owning a Uber X outright.

If you rent or lease you can't use the standard mileage deduction on your taxes

As far as I know Boston black and SUV are closed to new drivers

I drive a minivan because I have one (4 kids). I get horrible gas mileage. It usually works out to every mile driven = $1 in earnings.

Xl pings are generally further away meaning more dead miles to pickups. Not to mention that people think it's a party wagon and try to sneak or blatantly drink in your car (see attachment)

IMO if you wanted to drive xl buy a Toyota or Honda with 50-80k, find a good mechanic to check it over learn how to change your own oil and do your own breaks.

Those are limo companies renting out their SUVs to Uber Black approved drivers. Here in San Francisco, companies charge us $2,500/month to rent an SUV. Drivers average $10,000 in fares a month, but Uber takes 25%, so that's now $7,500, plus you have to pay your lease so that's now $5,000, plus you need to pay your gas, so that's $4,000 left for the driver working 200 hours a month. Black drivers make less than an UberX driver who puts in the same amount of time and owns their car outright. Plus I'd rather not have to dress up in a suit and look like a monkey driving over demanding wealthy wackjobs when I can dress relaxed and not feel obligated to do a damn thing but press the gas pedal.
damn I will
