Where are the Uber/Lyft whistleblowers?

One of the favorite pastimes we like to do on Upnet is try to guess what, when, how and why luber does and doesn't do various things, but what's been missing is a luber INSIDER.

We know many execs have come and gone, both quit and fired, and unless I've missed it, NOT ONE insider has blown the whistle and done an expose on what really is going on in these very secretive companies, especially uber.

I'm not a conspiracy buff by any means, but considering how many execs have parted ways rather unamicably,
it seems a little surprising they've all kept quiet.

The only inside stuff that's leaked dealt with sexual harassment.

It seems as if they're sworn to silence.

The question then becomes, how are they kept silent? Large severances? Threats of lawsuits or worse?

Uber is big on secrets and they are lawyer up.
I went to a focus group in DC and they made me sign non disclosure before let me in the floor.
Inside I was escorted directly to a conference room and same when we left.
I wanted to take a peak on IT operations but forget about it.

There was an Uber exec in Security that shared what Uber was doing. It was part of Waymo's lawsuit.

The guy was the real deal. Former Green Beret or one of the elite units. Went undercover in Bogota to fight the drug cartels. Finished that and served in Iraq. Went to work at Uber and didn't like the fraud and blew the whistle. True Hero.

It's unfortunate for the drivers that he or someone like him hasn't worked in the financial section of Uber, where they formulate their evil schemes against the drivers.

Both companies are truly scummy.

I have little doubt that if Lyft was the top dog, they'd be every bit as bad as Uber, maybe even worse.

I had a cush job back in the mid 2000’s developing high rise condos in Miami. I knew the market was on a collision course and that my job would be gone sooner than later. It was a shady outfit playing lots of financial lender games with overseas capital and a lot Political payback was necessary with fictitious “consultants” on the payroll, etc...but the money was too good so I let it ride until the end. I had nothing to loose. I can see the same with Fuber employees.
