One of my first pings after not Ubering for a while. The pick up is at a KFC 8 minutes away. On the way there I get a phone call from the rider (who was at home) asking me if I could go to KFC and buy him a Regular Popcorn Chicken Combo Meal with Pepsi and deliver it to his place. He said he would pay me for the food when I arrived.

I said no and cancelled the trip.
FYI This was during the busiest time of the night. I was not about to park my car for 30cents/minute to go hand deliver greasy KFC. What do people think this is? Im happy to do some courier jobs but I'm NOT a servant-on-demand!
Negotiate a HUGE cash delivery fee or take a credit card over the phone and label it as a tip. I did that once and got paid $25 plus the fare to bring some drunk guy ciggies.

How did you accept credit card over the phone?
. Get an app that lets you accept credit cards like PayPal PayHere or Square's Register. They both let you manually enter a credit card number. Of the 2, I like Square better. They will send you a free credit card reader or if you feel like paying $49 you will get one that also accepts chip cards and lets people use Samsung Pay or Apple Pay. Unfortunately, hardly any customers ever request this. You can also let someone skip a trip to the ATM: Let them charge the cash they want plus a tip then give them cash from your wallet.

...and they reverse the charges and there's nothing you can do because it's a violation of the TOS agreement you signed.
The charges wouldn't go through the Uber app and has nothing to do with Uber service. It's done after the ride. Uber can't tell me I'm not allowed to work for someone I gave a ride to after it ends. You just put "non-refundable cash back and tip" into the description and no credit card company will let them reverse it.

After you cancelled you should have picked up the food, free dinner.
Then she complains to Uber who traces it to you and fires you.
