When I pickup McDonald's with UberEats it's never ready but when I pickup with DoorDash it's always ready?
" TECHNOLOGY COMPANY " !Well I asked one of the McDonald's owners.
Anyway this is why this happens.
The stupid Uber app automatically starts the order when the drivers are 2 minutes away and because that app is always slow updating the drivers location the drivers are always faster then the app. This is why all Uber orders are late.
It's Uber's app that is delaying the orders and the only reason why the orders are late.
This also happens at the restaurant where I work also but since the prep timer is 10 minutes my restaurant is always faster then the drivers and faster then McDonald's or any fast food restaurant.
DoorDash orders are started when DoorDash gets the order. There is no delay like what Uber does. This is why DoorDash orders are ready and UBER'S orders are late.
In a nutshell UBER'S technology is inferior to DoorDash.
WAY TO GO UBER!!!!
UBER thank you for wasting my time and every drivers time and costing every driver some money. Maybe Uber should think about testing it's app and not let problems like this exist for years.
It could be that Uber does it on purpose to make sure the food is freshly prepared.Well I asked one of the McDonald's owners.

You need to think about this like a customer. If a DoorDash delivery takes 5 minutes to be delivered and a UberEats order takes 25 minutes to be delivered. What do you think the customer thinks is fresher? It could be that Uber does it on purpose to make sure the food is freshly prepared.
I may be wrong but what the customer "thinks" and what he gets when he opens the bag are two different things. You need to think about this like a customer. If a DoorDash delivery takes 5 minutes to be delivered and a UberEats order takes 25 minutes to be delivered. What do you think the customer thinks is fresher?
The customer will think that Uber has really dropped the ball on this one. The customer will also think that DoorDash's customer service is better because they are faster.
This is not to point out that DoorDash is better. It's to show how Uber could improve.
What is really bad is that this could be used to show how Uber is in violation of AB5. What will happen when California enforces AB5? Other states will follow if California stands up to Uber. Then what happens is that all companies doing this kinda thing will be forced to follow AB5.
Now really think about it. This is really all about money and taxes. California is not going to cut it's own throat. It will do what's best for California even if that burns Uber to the ground.
Have you ever noticed how similar Uber is structured to match how the cotton trade industry was structured after the American civil war.I may be wrong but what the customer "thinks" and what he gets when he opens the bag are two different things.
The delivery time doesn't have much to do with it if the order is placed at the same time.
You're thinking about it from the drivers point of view. I'm looking at it from the customers point of view.
Do I prefer a quick delivery time or do I want soggy fries that have been in a closed bag for twenty minutes waiting for the driver to show up? Even though they were delivered in five minutes.
As a customer I prefer fresh food.
Exactly. Whether it's DoorDash or Uber, we are both leaving with the food having just been bagged up and ready to go. The only difference seems to be that DD puts in a bit of slack time before sending a ping to the driver, whereas an UE driver gets it the ping when McD's gets their ping. Hence, the UE driver is waiting longer than the DD driver. The delivery time doesn't have much to do with it if the order is placed to UE or DD at the same time.
Are you on drugs like really really bad crack please put the crack pipe down before you post nonsense on the internet. Yikes man the elevator really isn't going all the way up with you huhHave you ever noticed how similar Uber is structured to match how the cotton trade industry was structured after the American civil war.
This is interesting because when people don't learn from history they are destined to repeat it.
If you rate the customer's happiness based on the tips you get. Who wins Uber or DoorDash?
I also prefer fresh food but I also know what the tips from the customer tell me.
What you have posted is pure nonsense I've seen and watched the workers there half the time they don't even put the order in, sometimes they don't even acknowledge the app, and or new employees don't even know what the hell an Uber order is, please don't spread your lies, and blame Uber. Freaking crack headWhen I pickup McDonald's with UberEats it's never ready but when I pickup with DoorDash it's always ready?
Who in their right mind would ever be jealous of an Uber Eats driver?I think the employees do it on purpose cause they are jealous of us.
People who aren't the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. Besides that probably they see some equally dim Eats drivers who act like they are making good money (tax free lol.)Who in their right mind would ever be jealous of an Uber Eats driver?
The way that I dress effects your food? Interesting, as I have no contact with your food. But then you have drivers who are uber late (no pun intended) and the food gets luke warm. Dont want mad customers or there will be no more deliveries
When you are delivering food you have to turn the table and see things from the customers perspective. Some of you all need to comb your hair, put on real clothes ( not pajamas) and be presentable. I would lose my appetite if some of you all delivered my food. FFS!!!!!
Everytime you do this you lose credibility. Your posts are a reflection of you and everyone sees those posts that you made in this thread and others and those posts shows you lashing out like a two year old child. I'm sorry that the truth about Uber effected you so negatively. Also if you want people to treat you like an adult you need to act like an adult. Are you on drugs like really really bad crack please put the crack pipe down before you post nonsense on the internet.
