No wonder there are no surges. Well I sure as hell am not going to work in bumper to bumper traffic with 1/2 hour to 1 hour plus delays for getting people to the stadium.

40% off and $10 off for newbie pax?

Oh boy Uber is looking for suckers for customers just like they are for drivers.

Problem for drivers is many don't know exactly where they are going, so stuck with a pax in the car, but know well enough to not to pickup there after that.

Burn me once and I'm the fool. 😆

This is why I like Mystro, simply draw pickup and drop off areas excluding the event area. No problems. 😁

I visit this website from time to time just to read all the numbnuts comments, and that drivers are still working for Uber and lyft or any of those gig apps, when will you guys understand that you all are suckers, Uber, Lyft or instacart Etc, they don't give a damn about you drivers. they see you as mules. you are their slaves. you guys cannot figure this out yet?
I have made videos about how unfair those companies are on the drivers, but no matter how much information i provide to you driver, i end up getting every time some kind of a stupid reply or post, like if there's nothing else for you drivers to do? I guess the lack of math skill keeps you drivers stuck in to this unprofitable gig job.
Keep complaining until the day you get assaulted by a passenger and perhaps die on the job for nothing, I will remind you all, I did bailed out from this vicious cycle of gig B.S. Back in 2020 as a full-time driver, i have from time to time come back as a driver for couple of weeks on a yearly basis to see how much worse has gotten, and oh boy the picture is not pretty at all. I hope you guys learn your lesson before it's too late. I know I did back in 2020

When are you going to get off your high horse. Your Mr. Holier Than Thou. You must have no life. Probably have a decent job, but live alone. People just don’t like narcissists. I would suggest try and get a girlfriend or make some real friends, and don’t look back. Also maybe seek a psychologist.

It's funny, everybody's b*** about this and you got a good point. What do you think that they're gonna ride surge? Free forever, maybe 1 hour earlier or 3 hours later on a beautiful sunny day, they'll get a higher price.
So you're telling.
i'm not calling this person dumb. I'm calling drivers dumb. In general, not most of the guys here put just a typical ant. Okay, I'll give you a good example. My stadium to the city bass fair is like $27. Okay. Do you see a $27 example? There, of course, not, they're gonna charge them. $65. Less 40%, which is going to be more than the base price. They might react some, so let's call it a $100 for X, they're still going to pay 60 more than a base ride. This isn't a fire cell. I noticed they're aggressive on base fares on short rides, but I also know the opposite. So this guy paid yesterday $14 to go 1.2 miles on a sunny day, 73° out. The point is, if you continue to do this job, it's not personal. It's business, do not let these guys in your head.Rent free.

He is correct. Simple math. Keep track of your mileage, multiply it by the current IRS milage deduction rate (I believe it is 0.67 per mile), subtract it from your gross payout from UBER. Now divide by the number of hours you worked..................

A simpler way to look at it, total payout, minus expenses (gas ect) and divide that number by the number of hours on the road.................

Not very good pay for your time and risk is it? And now that they are opening the door for cash payments which, weather accepting cash or not, increases the driver physical safety exponentially.
