I'm a college senior working on my Computer Science final project.

Issue:
I've been a "pax" and always felt uncomfortable when friends asked for aux/music/bluetooth. Driver looks understandably annoyed, and the trip might only be ~10-15 minutes. Personally I've never done it even if I'd prefer to play music just to not piss anyone off.

Solution:
I built this app which allows one person (the driver) to be playing music through their stereo system (aux/bluetooth/CarPlay/anything) and passengers can add songs to be played next automatically without touching the driver's phone or connecting to the stereo system.

I'm also thinking about adding a "tip DJ" system (in this case tip driver) where you can send small tips if you've appreciated this service/the music. Since this is a project the driver could keep all of the money except the cost to keep the servers up.

But I need help:
I'd really, really appreciate if I could get any feedback from the forum about this idea. Don't hold back!!!! I've read 10-12 posts about music, and it seems like it's a huge pain for drivers/pax alike. Any and all ideas/criticism is welcome.

If a paxhole of mine played some offensive shit I don’t care for , I’d get deactivated for cussin em out , I don’t need ANOTHER reason to cuss some of em 😁🤷‍♂️

So funny that you say that , when a pax asks me to put on some country music, I flat out tell them if they want me to end the ride and boot them out of the car, ask me that again lol, we always all get a chuckle about it, but I have never once played country music in my vehicle, not my cup of tea.
