Hello Miami friends, I posted this in complaints, but wanted to post in the Miami section also. They just don't get it.
My email to Uber

Uber response
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for writing in and I'm sorry to hear what happened with the charger. I will contact the rider and ask the rider to get in touch with you about returning the charger. I will give him your phone number to call.
We actually only provide the first charger, so if it becomes necessary, you'll need another one you will need to purchase a secondary charger yourself.
If you have any other questions, please let me know or check out our FAQ.
Hope this helps!
All the best,
Rebecca

My response
$80.28 ride fee
-$1.00 toll
-$1.00 safe ride
-$21.92 uber fee
$57.36 driver
-$20 charging wire
-$5 charging adapter
-$10 gas
$22.36 is what I truly make off this ride.
How is this fair to me that a client mistakenly or purposely takes something from my vehicle and you say it's my responsibility to replace it. The percentage uber takes from our rides, leaves no room for error.
I provide an extremely good ride for OUR clients, I don't feel uber truly understands that the drivers are the backbone to providing a good uber experience and uber continues to jeopardize that experience through lowering rates, taking money away from drivers and now making us responsible for things stolen. I will no longer offer my phone charger to a rider.
I want to mention also, unless uber raises rates or lowers their percentage (15% Uber X/20% uber XL), quality of uber vehicles and drivers will continue to decline. And quality is what uber is known for.
I truly believe you should hire some of your highest rated drivers to consult in your company to give drivers better driving experience instead of all the focus on rider experience.
Please forward this to someone higher up and do not respond with a pre scripted response.
Thank you
Daniel Perez
