Is that what it is ? I’m in a Prius at the moment and this morning didn’t get any jobs from 4-6am , kept sending reservations soo just did a couple of bolts and went home .

In my Ev was getting lots of Green and comfort jobs.

 

That's what I'm thinking... same as u I'm ina hybrid...when I'm driving around I'm noticing more electric cars seem to have customers in the of them than prius etc

 

Honestly my 1st month electric car, and I can honestly say they giving so many jobs to me it's non stop either uberX , uber Green, or comfort. If I don't get any of those normal jobs they will offer me so many of them match jobs sometimes 5 at once. Knowing uber I doubt it will last long though.

 

Really yes I think you're right and from speaking to others and driving around it does seem like the work is going towards electric cars rather than hybrid etc

 

I've been getting a lot more Green jobs over the past few weeks, and I've had quite a few days with more Green than UberX - but I still get loads of UberX jobs. When it's busy I often switch off UberX and just take Green, Comfort and Pet so I'm not taking UberX jobs from hybrd drivers. I get the impression Uber is prioritising EVs even on UberX jobs, which seems pretty unfair.

 

Having said that the rates I've been getting have dropped massively over the past couple of weeks, with Uber taking a much bigger cut of the fare.

But as customer I always look for Green tbh.
Can't stand most of those pushed to limits of existence prius's. Stinky and falling apart - but starting to get the same service from electric cars too so I recently figured it may not be problem with cars after all

 

Maybe the customer is booking Comfort because they know they won’t get a stinky Prius with 350k miles on the clock?

And since most EVs are also in Comfort they would prefer booking Green as they know they will get a car similar to what they get on Comfort but at prices similar to UberX.

 

Think you are spot on.
As a customer, always book green for above reasons.
As a driver, had electric since mid Sept., lot more jobs, in busy times filtering out x jobs.

 

Green comes cheaper sometimes to my surprise

 

Green is the default choice in customers app now. Hence Green get more jobs
