Here's the last week I was completely off the desk during a regular work/school week. 15 mph for 55 hours is about 800 miles. Can we agree on that at least. Didn't even bother finishing off the weekend incentives.

You made 1150 before promotion driving 800 miles on X? That is near 1.5 per mile driven, Your story is getting more and more unbelievable, But nice trying though. I think I am done exposing you.

You sure are stubborn. So what is..12 mph, 15mph, or 20 mph ? Do the math for each and report back. I have more homework for you.

I don't view this forum as particularly negative. It's entertaining as hell.

To any new drivers there are gems of wisdom amongst the snark, memes and sock puppets. It's like sifting for gold.

I learned a shitload here as I was in my noob ant phase. I learned what works for me that wouldn't necessarily work for other people. I focus on less trips with higher payouts per trip. A good friend of mine is a Quest harlot and ants away hitting more trips in a week than I do in a month.

Find what works for you.

Nobody likes to reveal their tactics or honey holes, but everyonce in a while some UP members cant help it and just boast how much they made one day and what they did to get it (not directly but one can figure it out).
Thanks guys for posting those screenshots!

The “work smarter, not harder” motto isn’t just for uber X drivers either. I’m so glad I found a way of working much more efficient. I’m doing less rides and make more because I know where to be and what trips to take and when to work. I even used to take XL base fares when I first started. I didn’t do LAX before and still don’t do it. My average trip last week was $84. No need to ant for $12 select rides anymore.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
I'm pretty sure that Uber has recently put drivers with any kind of strategy behind their driving into some sort of sand box. Very few pings and when they throw you a bone, it's some shit ride that would normally discourage a new ant from driving.
The algorithm easily identifies when a driver is "gaming" the system.
Results: No deactivation, only intelligent neglect of that drivers needs

This forum's threads or anyone's comments shouldn't bother the way you make money.
Who cares if someone made $1000 in a day or $50 in 10 hrs. They are not going to feed you. You are one of 383838392 drivers in Los Angeles or Orange County. Sometimes you have lucky or bad day. Your tactics aren't always going to work. Sometimes you will make less than what you expected. Don't be disappointed, there is always tomorrow.
Don't be affected by the negative. See only positive things.
When you start seeing more negative, positive can become negative.
Good Luck
Hello, my friend. I'm sorry , I had to get off the phone last night, and I hope , you made it home safe. :(

I'm sorry.:(

Ants gone be ants.

It's crazy to ant around without strategy

I don't say Spit to the driver. I let them get lost if they gonna. I just know give myself time. If I'm taking an Uber X or Lyft, I give myself plenty of time for whatever crap is gonna inevitably happen.

If I'm taking a date or guests, I do SUV.
How would you know your driver's don't know what right on red, only when it's safe mean? Are you assuming they don't speak English because of their skin color?

Didn't even bother finishing off the weekend incentives. Looks like it's well above minimum wage. Promos are lower this week, but $25 ph isn't impossible for 50-60 hours of work while maintaining a decent mileage rate for all miles driven. OP is right about this board.

Serious question, how come premium drivers never include time online when posting screenshots? It provides better context, but they'd rather sit on their pedestal and not be subject to scrutiny.
Damn I'd be lucky to get 100 pings from Uber a week consistently now. They've boxed me in theoretically.
