Lately there's been an uptick in the number of Trip Radar requests that flash on the screen and disappear so rapidly before I can even get my finger on the screen to accept them.
Could Uber be doing it? Possibly. But more likely the culprits are piece of shit thieving drivers who think nothing of literally reaching their hands into other drivers' pockets and stealing their money. Make no mistake about it, they're robbing other drivers and should be prosecuted.
The airwaves are governed by the FCC and tampering with data transfers is or should be a federal crime. If so, the feds should throw the book at the asswipes who are doing it.
It's bad enough that the gig companies exploit the drivers 24/7, the last thing drivers need is to be robbed by their fellow drivers.
