Ever wonder what do they do to lock your account? I found it's the little red tag from a consumer report.

Here is the image:

A reasonable human being should be able to [consider], but in the age of digital divide, the AI robot overpowers human being and we're all doomed to lose account access to make a living.

Dear ,
You recently authorized Inc. (“the Company”) to obtain consumer reports and/or investigative consumer reports about you from a consumer reporting agency. is considering taking adverse action regarding your engagement with the platform in whole or in part based on information in such report(s), including the following specific items identified in the report:

  • (ALL DRIVING PRIVILEGES) REEXAMINATION RESULT (MEDICAL SUSPENSION)

They 'pre-adverse actioned' you.

That's in all their contracts: DD, Lyft, Uber....

Basically allows them to deactivate you for something that's not your fault, or doesn't violate TOS, but there's some reason they can't have you drive for them - like the infamous 3-in-3.

Yours is, apparently, medical. If you disagree, your only option is to go to a Hub and find out what they mean specifically, since this isn't something that would show up on DMV or Criminal check by Checkr.

They reserve the right to not answer you, of course.

"Medical suspension"?

Well it's kind of difficult to get up stairs with only one leg using the opposite arm as a makeshift leg while holding a pizza box in the free hand.

Like how are you supposed to hold the handrail to keep yourself from tumbling backwards down the stairs? With your mouth? Really?

Will anyone think about that poor pizza? 😲

The background check companies have parameters set within their system for each specific state whether those parameters come from the companies or from the states directly, IDK. If your background does not clear those parameters it gets flagged as "consider". I know in my state with Uber and Lyft those reports have to be manually reviewed. Then a determination is made from there. I drove for several years with a consider flag on my account.

The interesting part of my experience with these platforms, some lock driver's account access regardless whatever triggered the adverse action.

The best delivery platform, in a sense, did not lock my acct. access initially, so I was able to continue to dash with bicycles, scooters or community transportation or even just cherry picking the orders to keep the account open and active. After I spent a lot time (not mention the money wasted) to fire the incompetent medical doctors as PCP, I eventually get a certificate of physical and mental health and was finally allowed to take a road test per the state law on driver license re-examination. Three weeks after I finally got the clearance of the wrongful or false accusation/allegation of mental/physical illness that impact the safe driving, my account was suddenly locked up citing a specific event in the Checkr Report. The event was the driver's 'privilege' to drive was suspended in the past for fail to bring a certificate of physical health to driver reexamination as required by state law.

Initially, I do not know why one needs to have a certificate of physical fitness to fight the false accusation. I hired the best lawyer(s) I know and consult with a few criminal defense lawyer(s) or law firms and ticket fixing service. I eventually went on fight with the injustice on my own as even the most powerful attorneys have their limits as well.

I received my commercial driver license for operating Taxi or commercial truck some 50+ years ago. I was aware in the past, some jurisdictions have age limit on commercial driving. But my understanding is nowadays, it's case-by-case determination based on an individual's health condition. I did not expect the false accusation from a municipal government employee that maliciously access the state's driving records and cut and paste her own version of unqualified accusation of medical illness as asserted through the appeal process.
