My average always higher.
So is mine, if I put my life on hold and just live for Uber. Travis can not buy my soul... well not for $0.90 a mile, and no surge.

Do u include depreciation, maintenance gas repairs and all the other stuff?
Of course not. You can't be a cheerleader for Uber with common sense like that... come on.

40 uberx rides x $8 per ride =$320
Boost ($35-75) = $50
Tips ($0-$25)*= $15
Total Gross = $385 guestimate

Total miles driven (320-400) = 350
Expenses 350 miles x $0.35 per mile= $122.5

Gross $350 - Expenses $123= $227 Net (before Taxes) per week

In accident = Not working.
. - Best case, other party's Insurance pays
. - Repairs and Uber Deductible
. + Lost of income while not driving
- Worse case
. - She/Driver pays $1000 Uber Deductible if Period 2 or 3. Car get repaired with Uber Insurance but because it was her fault, she coughs up $1000 deductible... Or
. - Oops, was gonna add Rideshare to her policy "next month". Just got in a Period 1 accident which is her fault. Somehow her Insurance finds out. Uber no payout for Period 1 . Her insurance no pay. No loss of income compensation available. No car to pull in weekly earnings. Ouch.

And I'm being conservative with my estimates. And the Risks mentioned above are on the average low, but by no means are they unusual at all.
Here is my last slow week.
No cherrypicking, no surge hunting, no Coachella. Just "anting".

I forgot to mention 7 trips on Lyft with payout of $87.66

Is this good? Are you boasting about this?
Have you ever seen a profit and loss statement.
Are you considering expenses?
I am happy that you are happy.
Peace and Love. peace and Love.

They are looking to recruit drivers out of Pacoima?
FINALLY, these teardrop tattoos on my FACE will land me a JOB!!!!
I grew up there and this hits pretty close to my heart D: haha

Dude seriously. Get the fu** off your high horse

What promos did you get?
35/80 & 35/75
I made 3 extra trips, because one was from Laguna to LAX and 2 df trips.
155:70=$2.21 per trip. $2.62 local + $2.21 from quest it is like 1.85x surge.

My consideration is like this:
You made 800 and "hypothetically" your leftover is 200. You made 400 leftover 100. You made 0 you ARE 0.
54 cents is a great loophole. I'm sure my REAL expenses significantly lower.
Am I happy? No. Year ago mine per hour average was close to $30/hour. Now my goal do not fall below 20/hour. With 15K more drivers it will be impossible.

You were a lot more diplomatic about it than I was or would want to be when I get ignorant statements/questions like that

My god, I have never seen so many Uber's on the pax app as in the last 2 weeks. I knew they must be doing some recruiting again...

I'm in the slow suburbs of the west valley. There's usually an average of 2-4 Uber's I can see on the app. Now, it's 8-20. Even if I wake up at 3am on a Tuesday and check out of curiosity.... yup, bunch of Uber's just sitting in my neighborhood.
* Oh, and Lyft is double that number, I don't even bother with them anymore.

Yep any given time in the suburbs have seen this the past few weeks. So I know when heading to LA it is just worse. Any where you go it just seems double the amount both uber and lyft. Seems the new insurgence is bigger then they did last year. Really wish on the pax app you can see the little ant cars every where like they use to instead of having to put addresses in to find a nice little hole to drive. Surprised I made what I did last week; just got lucky that some drivers didn't want to do the long trip and I was next in line. Makes it hard to be patient and wade out the newbies when they want even more. Or maybe they are just seeing the new ants are finding out sooner that they hate it and are stopping. Good luck to everyone.

15,000 x $500 = $7,500,000 x 2 = $15,000,000 in Driver Sign Up Bonuses

And we wonder why they cut Rates....phhhht!
Don't kid yourself. That $15 million is rounding error to the $2.1 billion they lost last year. Literally seven-tenths of one percent.
