I hear a lot from passengers how my car smells good, they complain other cars smell bad and like cigarettes. I smoke but I wake up and smoke a few cigarettes but that’s it. I shower and change. But I see drivers smoking at the airport waiting for passengers. Don’t smoke in your car and really don’t smoke while on shift people can smell that shit. I vape all day and no one smells it. I don’t know which is better I don’t care really I’m about to quit both but this is a business! It is your car but you have to keep in mind you have passengers paying you for the ride. You have to think about them. They don’t smoke they don’t want to smell it. That’s why some of you don’t have 5 stars. I have always only gotten 5 star rating. And only half rate you. I have had people ask to smoke and I say no because of the next passengers don’t want to smell it plus don’t need burn holes in my nice car. But if you want to drive you need to quit smoking during your shift and don’t smoke in your car ever. Just some advice for newbies. I feel you on smoking but you can’t do both. Just can’t.

People can’t smell vapes. Just can’t. So really you shouldn’t do either but that’s your choice. But if your gonna drive keep your car clean between rides, wash daily, get some leather cleaner to wipe down before shifts helps. And don’t smoke!!!!

Just be glad if I even clean up the used rubbers and beer cans outta the backseats.
Your fat or stinky? Not going to pre-tip me before the ride starts? Or at least give me some head?

At the end of the day do what you want but remember it’s a job. You don’t smoke inside at other jobs so people don’t want to smell cigarettes when paying for a ride.
I wish we were all cab drivers smoking and cussing all the time and be rude to the customer without repercussions. Not a sarcasm btw.

I’m a smoker/vaper too. And completely agree with what you say. Il have one in the morning then shower, brush teeth change clothes. Then its vape all shift. Riders always say my car smells nice. Smokers absolutely stink when they hop in. You can definitely smell it. I just think that use to be me stinking,
Even if you have one smoke on shift and wait ages the smell is still on you,

I also drive cab . I don't smoke. I dunno about where you live but if a cab driver where I work is rude to a customer., they bring his ass to the DFHV. He can get a fine or face suspended or revoked.
There's another guy right here who drives a cab &:U/L too. He don't come to UPN no more but he don't smoke neither. He'll tellya' the same thing about what happens when you're rude in your cab. He useta ' be in charge at this 1 cab co.. but he said he sold outta' there along time ago.
So don't believe that dumb shit what U & L tellya' about cab drivers.

I was in the waiting lot at TF Green one day and the rideshare driver parked next to me was smoking away. The decal on the window in his rear door said "No Smoking". LOL!!
I've been doing Lyft/Uber since March and had to buy a newer car, which I really needed anyways, because my 2004 Forester was way beyond their age limit. So I bought a 2012 Forester and, knowing that many people object to the smoky smell, I always smoke outside of the car and also make sure that my windows are all the way up so none of it drifts inside.
I know that the smoke can be smelled on me, but I haven't had any complaints. I spray vanilla scented Ozium about one hour before I start out for the day, and also wear vanilla scented perfume. I have had people comment on how nice my car smells so I think that the problem has been solved.
I've also been complimented many times on how clean and neat my car is. I get a kick out of this because before doing Lyft/Uber I had one of the most messy and cluttered cars you've ever seen. LOL!! I guess that now I have a reason to not have the clutter.

I get why you’d want to make the switch from smoking to vaping—it can feel like an excellent way to cut back or even quit. Vaping can be a bit easier on the lungs compared to smoking, plus it doesn’t have that heavy smell. I’ve been using a fryd disposable lately, and I think it’s pretty great. It’s super easy to use, doesn’t require much maintenance, and offers a decent range of flavors. I’ve noticed it helps me curb my cravings without feeling like I’m doing more harm, you know? If you’re thinking about switching, it might be worth trying. But, of course, everyone’s different, so it’s good to see what works best for you!

Vaping did help me quit smoking, but it took some trial and error to find the right setup and flavors. At first, I kept going back to cigarettes because the tobacco flavors just didn’t hit the same. Once I started getting quality e-liquids from places like eJuiceDB, it got way easier. Having a good variety kept me from getting bored and tempted to pick up a cigarette again.

is a very rare disease and has nothing to do w vaping.
Does vaping cause popcorn lung?
Popcorn lung is a type of lung disease, but it is not cancer. E-cigarettes don’t cause popcorn lung.
