its unsolvable! we are screwed. just be dilligent on your part. secure the **** out of ur cargo too especially drinks. i need a drink.
You are so accurate. When you make the statement it's unsolvable for us drivers because we have no protection... So let me post the situation where even having to pin the customers are trying to find an avenue around it.... There has been excessive fraud with a high percentage of customers reporting their food as not receiving it and getting full refunds when they actually did receive it in the first place. At least in the area where I service what started off these apps has luxury and then has turned into expected. We are not being treated with the dignity and respect that we deserve. But let me get back to the situation where they still avenues around pins.... Last night I took a delivery and the woman called me as I was approaching the address and told me that she was going to have her brother come to the door. So I go up to the door and a man comes to the door and he tells me he didn't order and then I asked him if he knew the customer and he said no. So I apologize to him for disturbing him. He was later in the evening and then I called and verified. The address that was in the app with the customer told me her address was the house next door but started to insinuate like I had done something wrong. So I told her I just went to the house. It's listed in the app. Well she said she knows her address but when I informed her that I know by experience than when people use the apps little checkbox that says use my location rather than entering their information in. Sometimes it's a little off with different addresses right next door and then she said oh so her reaction is that she does use that use my location function. But they're an apology. No I called care driver support just to give them feedback so they can update that address or get the customer too because it did require that pin and requesting support was next to none. The reply I got when I explained the above mentioned details was I'm sorry the GPS was messing up like I went to the wrong place when I stood up and said that's not what I said. The address in the details of the order on the app is wrong and I just wanted you but it actually went to the correct person. It required a pin and I wake up this morning receiving a message that one of my recent customers had reported an order that I had marked as delivered as never delivered

Too many customers have been lying and claiming food never arrived.
Drivers stealing food marking as delivered as well, first time customers get pins as well, some drivers drop food off at wrong address and don’t bother to call when it clearly says meet at door. It’s not only bc of the scummy customers trying to say they didn’t get their food or requests too many refunds

the pin will help ensure the delivery makes it to customer other than the alternatives which are the following mistakes: customer inputs wrong address. driver takes it to wrong address. driver steals food. customer falsely claims food was not delivered. now how do u solve missing items?
Ubereats driver stole my items even I had verified pin and yet she knew it ...cause I ain't give it to her how is that and I can't get refund
