True, those pedestrians are jerks and stop a few cars. Jerks cause lots of inconveniences, but people think liberty means they don't have to bother. But they aren't really the issue. So what's your point? And Uber just keeps adding more drivers long after we had enough, but instead of trying to keep the ones that were already there and doing well, they decided to make it shittier and keep piling it on expecting people to quit soon. And choosing to give us bonuses instead of just making the rate more reasonable and settling for less toatl riders. SF isn't obligated to tolerate it. The world doesn't revolve around us.

I think everyone already forgot this is about the traffic, not worker's rights or whatever. The fact that many of the drivers came from out of town is more of a technicality than the central point. We can bicker, but it's the truth. We do make traffic much worse. Rideshare was/is never the lifeblood of SF, that's MUNI. We just give the new residents the ability to not have a clue which bus you get on. Even putting aside double parking, even empty most Rideshare cars are driving around, taxis did and do mostly wait. I prefer to wait too, I know lots of us do but every time I open the rider app the cars are just cruising around, a huge majority of them. Except the handful of regulations conjured up by the city in retaliation to rideshare, most of what people complained about here was already present before rideshare drivers.

Nah it's complete bs,the city's population has grown and business is doing well , they just want money.

Uber and Lyft is a big part of that ,think of how many business deals and connections are made due to the easy of getting around or the nightlife of the city

There is so much denial here. Everybody is like "we don't cause a bunch of traffic". I look out my window and like half the cars waiting at the light have Uber stickers. People here are bashing Uber every day, with some who want the company to fail even though they use the company, but suddenly you're on their side. Serious rejardation here. The fact that the denial is phrased as "**** you I don't cause traffic" shows how r-word it is.

FFFFFFFF San Francisco! This is such BS from the city. If you take away rideshare drivers, then the city population will drive more and cause the same damn traffic. Well except they wont's since there's no place to park and no lane to drive in. So they will take taxis of which there aren't enough, or take public transit which takes forever. What a vicious circle.

I'm starting to hate picking up pax in SF. There is no safe place to pull over without getting tickets, the cops and meter maids in SF love to harrass us, pax are cheap taking pools going 3 blocks, etc...And same with SFO, which is controlled by the city of SF. It is also the same crap with traffic, congestion, tickets. SF really needs to grow up and act like a real city. All you have to do is look around at any other city and see that SF is a joke!

Hey people. have I been foruming among a bunch of god believers? That never occurred to me. Has that been going on? Have many of you have just been going about posting things with god there in your mind? I mean God (cuz it's a name so you capitalize it. Except I though a god was just a plain noun, and the different ancient tribes had different names for their gods, sometimes names you could not utter like YHWH.
