I take a few seconds to hit that thanks button. Never got an error prompt though so I assume the customers see them.

 

I always send thanks for the giant tips.

 

I send thanks if the tip is $4+ as long as I remember to. I just restart the app when it won’t let me and it works every time

Yes, of course. I send thanks on every tip. I'm always a little shocked when I realize some people were not taught to always say thank you.
With the latest app update, sometimes the Earnings page won't come up, so just gotta keep trying til you get it.

So it's not just me that has problems pulling up the trip details or sending thanks for the tips. And this has been going on for a while. Maybe my iPhone X is the problem. Oh wells.

 

in my market, Toronto, Canada, I'd send thanks for anything, even as low as $0.50
Most people don't tip Ridehail in Canada.

 

It is too bad there isn’t a sarcastic way we can “thank” them for tips less than a dollar.

I’ve got an idea- why not have a message for the tiny tips that goes like this: “Thanks but no thanks for your microscopic tip. Even though Canada has taken the penny out of circulation, I can see it is alive and well in your household. By the way, I find more than your tip amount on the ground at fast food drive thrus.”

 

I never got a TY text. Which is fine, IJS. The app says thank you for tipping! and sends a bunch of hearts all over, so that is my warm fuzzies I guess.

This is what I encounter. Not a bunch but there seems to be certain days were I have to do this on every ride. Also, has anyone went into an actual trip after thanking them through the earnings activities? I go to the earnings activity page, send thanks, and then the heart turns black. If you click on the actual trip and go into the trip, the old send thanks Blue Button is there. The weird thing is it's always lit up blue as if you did not send thanks. I have yet to see it change and indicate you have already sent thanks. It's like you have to do it twice , one from the earnings activity page and one from actually within the trip

I also thank anyone above $5. And have thought about thanking the low tippers, but have not because I don't want them to downrate me.

 

No thanks for tips < $2. Granted I don't get many of those now that they give you up front total you should make. Any order <$5 easy decline (unless it's super close or stacks w/ my DD, then I might take it).

I hit the thanks button most of the time. The other day I got a $2 tip delivering to a $2.5 million house! I didn’t say thanks on that one.
