Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22 phones are missing Uber Coffee Break icon

Is there some kind of glitch with Samsung Galaxy S-series flagship phones that's preventing the Uber Coffee Break icon from appearing on the app? I've talked to at least 5 drivers who own those phones and none of them have the coffee cup. All the drivers I've spoken with have the S21 and S22 models so I don't know if the glitch is limited to only those models.

Do Samsung Galaxy Note phones also have that glitch?

Is it a glitch that affects ALL Samsung phones?

Ive never seen a coffee cup

I don't think so. I will check. I have 2 nice back up phones.
S10 note 5g.
And another one plus 8t 5g. Like new. Never liked it . It's like android and iPhone type software combined. Not user friendly
Just checked the one plus 8t 5g don't have it. I had it Years ago. I never use it..tks.

There is no glitch.

From a hardware and software perspective there are more choices and types of user interface overlays (Samsung UI) on Android operating based phones which take longer to implement new features like the coffee cup icon.

It's really no big deal as you can just use the Go Offline feature just not as easy and quick.

Gives Uber a chance to collect statistics on it's use, problems etc. before a widespread rollout. If they have to pull it, only a small proportion of drivers are affected.

For me, there are only two reasons to use the feature -

1. if you have a reservation coming up and need to be online for the prerequisite 40 minutes prior but don’t necessarily want to do rides (for example, if you’re taking a break nearby the pickup, or if you intend to start your day off with a reservation ride that's literally like 10 minutes from your house and don't want to get pings before then).

2. To “save” a surge dollar amount for your next ride but want to take a break and/or get to a different area first.

My S24 Ultra has it.

Had to agree to new terms and do a selfie to check since I haven't turned Uber on in forever.

Now Uber thinks I want to drive again.

You do lyft blk. Only because. Why. Uber blks ins cost?? It's hugh tlc ins..Lyft don't have it. You get enough lyft blk rides. In Philadelphia no more blk on Uber priemer. Too many telsa no one gets priemer rides easy.

Because Lyft Black and Lyft Black SUV are the only things paying remotely well enough to be worth it.
