Anyone else ever see this gem appear? LOL I had picked a couple that was heading into the Loop from Pulaski & Belmont. Even after resetting my app, no route available. Granted I could navigate by the address alone, but how many of our fellow travelers would have a problem with this situation? Or not knowing you could hit Google Maps or Waze inside the app? Or take the address from the app & plug it into either GPS from outside the app?

I did get a good tip from it but it makes me wonder how many of our brethren can navigate without our handy dandy GPS apps. I have heard many stories of drivers getting stuck down on Lower Wacker for this same reason, so anyone wanting to come here and rail on me, please do share.

You're already in trouble if you still have to have GPS in order to navigate the city's the subterranean street system. It's simply not that difficult.
If you've been doing this for a while, why do you still need GPS down there? Take the time and make the effort to know that area down cold. No excuse to still be clueless.

Hows about you're already in trouble if you need to navigate the city PERIOD? This is a very easy city to navigate. I hope you weren't referring to me with your snark, just pointing out that I hear from many riders how bad other drivers are at this game.
Comments were NOT directed at you but the general driving audience.I was using the pronoun "you" in a general sense. I know some drivers consider themselves "suburban" drivers. The reality is that one has to look at roughly a 5-6 county area as the Chicago market. Sometimes you get dragged into the city whether you want to or not-----so one has to have at least a general understanding of the major streets in the city. Downtown and the core entertainment/shopping areas are a must.

LOL today I had 59 outta 60 to all the great quest of 65$. First ping drive 12 mins for a 4 min trip, non acceptable so I keep going where I want. Next ping comes in "unknown road in Gurnee" 5 miles away. I cancel go chill with the fam with app on. Next ping finally a legit destination, and easy d/o only took 20 mins. Uber sent 3 stacked pings on the way ofcource. Ended trip early and app off, grab a case of beer, and a steak, watched football kicking back.

Last night was crazy though 31 trips. Almost 400$. Some nice surges near 5 am from the travelers and left over party animals almost puking in my car. Family paid 78$(With tip) off Dearborn and Division to ORD. But it was raining and very shitty conditions. I drove from Western and Chicago to get them I explained so they tipped me 11$.
