I also read some of this and said Trump was not listening to people.
How many people tried to talk with him got turned away because he had so many people coming at him wanting help.

When more people are realizing that the virus isn't actually that deadly on its own. If they realize it and still support the lockdowns, they weren't actually liberals. They were Statists all along. Well I would have to say for every one negative about Trump If is 10 times worse on the other side. Look at the riots and lies.

Actually I'll disagree on dems opposing it and calling racism dependent upon the timing. Many other countries were shutting down with far more draconian rules than the US and many US companies had already switched to having everyone work from home. If he's the brilliant person and salesman he thinks he is then it could have been spun into a progressive action and that the US wasn't the only place doing it.
As far as the Chinese travel ban it was aggressive at the time. Except it didn't take effect immediately and had lots of wiggle room. So ultimately around 40k people still flew into the US. They could also come to the US by flying through Europe for a much longer time.
Maybe it did happen and I don't recall but if they made anyone coming in from the US go into real quarantine or testing as opposed to just taking their temperature then it may have made a difference
The problem was that nobody really knew what they were dealing with in February. So any action seemed over blown. While in hindsight much tougher actions were needed and I'm many cases still haven't been put into effect
The thing is other countries should have also stopped the flights in and out of China following his lead.
