I had a few drop offs at McCarran today, and as soon as I swiped to indicate that the ride was complete I immediately was offered a pick up right there at the airport while I was still at the curb for departures. Don't you have to be parked and waiting in the que to get a pick up at McCarran? I declined the ride and for the rest of the day as soon as I dropped off a rider at the departure curb I immediately went offline until I was off of the airport property. I wasn't worried about losing offers because I was getting pinged all day. I was more concerned about jumping ahead of the other drivers who were waiting in the que.

Yeah, I was kind of worried about that, too. I'm new at this and I really don't want to screw up and get a citation for a dumb mistake. For now I'd rather pick up somewhere else and make newbie mistakes without someone waiting to write me a ticket.
So do not that many drivers stage at the airport? I guess I can understand why, if that is the case. You'd sit and wait only to get a fare that's going to a hotel nearby, earning you three or four dollars for all the time wasted waiting.
