For some reason, in the past couple weeks, I’ve been having to cancel a lot of rides due to pax not showing up/not responding to my texts or calls. This has of course raised my cancellation rate above 10% each week. Sure I get the cancel fee (which doesn’t feel great when it’s in the middle of a rare surge) but should I be worried about deactivation if this keeps up?

You call or text? The app notifies them when you have arrived, if they can't make it to the curb or text you then you should be moving along at 5 min.
