I am 52. Retired 4 years ago. I have got bore I was looking for a part time job and was thinking about uber. Being my own boss, working when I want and as long as I want is important to me. I would only want to do it Monday-Friday from 12pm-5pm. No nights or weekends, about 15-20 hours a week. Anyone do this? Is it worth it. I live in tallahassee Florida.

Now think of a purpose for the money to keep it out of the hands of SWMBO. Start by putting $30 of it aside to go for tax, insurance, gas, tires etc.
Speaking of which, have you had a talk with your insurance agent about a Rideshare waiver and what happens if you don’t have it?
