Hello everyone,
I'm in process of gathering all of the pre-requisites for P2P license, meanwhile I pick up people outside of the Cbus city limits.

My concern is that when I complete a trip and drop someone off within Cbus city limits, I don't have enough time to go offline before another ping comes in from within City limits.
I do not answer the ping, then go offline and drive out of that zone.

Will Uber penalize me for not taking these trips?
Why in the world would they send me those knowing I can't receive them yet. This is frustrating.

Honestly, Uber will keep record of your non acceptance rating and potentially hold it against you.

Honestly, Columbus has as far as I know never issues a ticket to someone picking up withing city limits without the license. Hundreds of new Uber drivers do Columbus pick ups every week who don't have their license yet, and Uber doesn't care.

I can't necessarily say just take the calls, because Uber won't back you up on this one, but the likelihood of you having any issues is microscopic...Not to mention that leaving city limits every time you do a Columbus drop off is horrific dead mileage.

Yup, it is dead mileage and you are right, likelihood is microscopic, but ... it always is. I don't know how city can enforce this, but I'd rather be compliant.

I wish Uber gave you an option to stop receiving pings from within the city limits until you upload your P2P badge into their system.
