This is a terrible idea. They don't give a f**k about drivers.

 

Any thug with a brain could use a fake account and request a cash ride, knowing that the driver will have cash on him. Easy way for a driver to get robbed no thank you

You may want to respond and request proof of opting out of Cash Trips.

 

I found the original posted link on a random Google search.
It seems Uber was not prepared for people to opt-out beyond a test market.

I opted out and got a support message saying they didn't understand what my issue was. I simply replied and said I opted out of cash rides. They then replied with a confirmation that i had, in fact, opted out.

 

Simple to do.

 

What's the point? Cash payments are not even available in Boston...

 

I don't deliver.
