I am tired of looking at the Pax App and seeing Ubers all around me but I keep getting calls to H.U 28-35 minutes away. Most of these are rides to a coffee shop or if the weather is bad some place on campus, ( it s a very small campus, maybe 1/2 mile by 1/2 mile) On Sundays it is to church. These I can live with, I might snarl, but I think of it as doing a good deed, for the lazy little farts. All $5 fares and never had a tip from any of them and have had to wait on ALL of them.

BUT what gripes my butt the most is that most of them have no idea what the address of the building they want to be picked up is, they just want to give me the building name. Now folks my GPS doesn't know the name of a single building on that campus and it is a lot smarter than I am. Also most of the buildings don't have the name posted where it is view-able. What happens is that when you get to the ping on the GPS and call them, they "TRY" to direct you to where that are. Today I had a young lady direct me around the same building 4 times and had me take a different street every time I went around it and I never did find her.

So, in the start of a Hurricane, I drive in stop and go traffic 38 minutes to get to the pick up area, then spend 34 minutes driving around in circles to no avail, I had the pleasure of a 45 minute crawl home in rush hour traffic with nothing to show for it.

So, Hampton University, from this time forward, meet MR. Cancel........Grrrrrrr

But actually though, I understand your annoyance. I went to UVA, and none of the buildings, including dorms, have addresses either. My mailing address there was literally my room number and dorm name, no physical address. I think New Cabell hall was the only one with an actual street address, and I'm not so sure about that one either. I'm actually really curious as to how the uber scene is down in Charlottesville.

I stay away from the schools as much as I can, don't need em........Most of my crappy ratings are from college kids. Reasons: I don't let them eat in the car, if Asked I will accommodate stops within reason. Some of them literally stink and I throw them out. I keep music low and stay away from religion and politics [most are clueless anyway]. I do have gum at times, for me but do offer and the weasels stole all the charger cords I purchased at the dollar store so I don't offer anymore.
Now I am at 4.83 @ approx 1k rides.
Also back to part time too, however I can make OK $$$$ full time but Friday Sat Sun 6-11, 3-7 is fine.......

We all hear you about college campuses but you accepting a ride over 8 to 10 minutes is your own damn fault. I hope you really learned your lesson ACRO those everytime!
