“Lost luggage recovery concierge”. No more waiting for the airline to deliver your luggage, along with hundreds of other misplaced bags. When airlines reroute mishandled luggage, Bluesmart users will be able to locate their bags through 3G-enabled tracking and then request a luggage recovery service directly through the Bluesmart app. Bluesmart will then coordinate with an Uber driver-partner to pick up the luggage at the airport and bring it directly to the user’s hotel or home. Bluesmart staff will work with the airline and the user in order to authenticate the ownership of the bags. This service will be provided free of charge and be available initially only in the USA.

Are we allowed to pick up luggage at the airport?

Sounds good to me especially since luggage doesn't talk back, make you wait, or give you a hard time and it never cares what music you are playing or asks for the aux cord and turn up the volume.

In Tampa International Airport this is not an issue. Short term parking is free for the 1st 1 hour and it is located directly above the only terminal. Any driver can park there, take the elevator to level 1 where this list and found office is and back within 1 hour without having to pay for parking. I wonder if the time value of the driver delivering such package would be 13 cents a minute or higher. It must be financially reasonable for the drivers to do this job. I personally prefer it to a passenger pickup/delivery as long as the people would be waiting at home for the luggage when I arrive. Just imagine the mess if they are not and I am sure it will happen. Time value of the driver should be set discouragingly high to make sure this is not abused.

I was thinking about parking at airport too. Yes, Tampa is unusual with free 1 hour parking. Most other airports charge a minimum parking fee, plus the time to get the luggage. What rate would we be paid to do this?? It should include any parking fee charged and a higher rate for waiting to get luggage. I agree with an automatic 5 star rating on these type trips, otherwise we could be rated less because they are mad at airlines.
