Accepted what I thought was a regular ride and suddenly Uber called me with a recorded message regarding the GGG partnership. Basically the message said they were old, possibly blind, hard of hearing or they have mobility issues. Hey I love helping seniors and I assumed there would be a spiff.
I get there and this 80 year old guy with Batman pajamas and a catheter bag filled with urine was my ride. He could barely walk. I had to lift his legs into the car. Keep in mind I started driving because I am healing from a hernia repair.
The destination point was a non-address location. He could not remember where he lived. I drove in circles before he had me turn down a muddy alley, where we found his house, behind another house. He asked me to back in so he would have a shorter distance to his door. Then I had to help him out.
Again, I have a servant's heart when it comes to seniors, but the fare was standard and this guy was broke as F and there was no tip...
...and my car smelled like piss
Is there a way to opt out of receiving GGG rides?
