Was out 6.30 till 9.30pm. 8 Uber 0 Lyft. Lyft looks dead!!

15 Rides from 11pm - 2:30am. (Mostly regular LYFT, 4 Shared)
I even snagged a Destination Ride from Liberty Village to Mississauga to bring me home, then 2 shorties near my house.

 

I ended up doing 18 still on pace for that bonus

had two people throw up both outside my car though did have some land on the ledge. one was at 8pm like come on who gets drunk at 8pm. neither tipped. cleaning fee?

 

I waited two hours for select only got one. So I gave up set destination back home got 1.4 and 1.2 bonus.

 

Started very slow but ended with a big bang . Group of millenials who wanted to be dropped off individually on XL surge. The houses where I dropped them off screamed of serious money. And the distances between houses were like 10km on average. Frankly I was wishing the last passenger would come back to Toronto.

I actually spill coffee myself on the seat after the ride. Picked the lady from timmies and she was being an ass. So I gave her 1 star and I reported and got cleaning fee.

No drunks nor Marijuana smokers in my car, so still smells great

How many hours do you work to get 18 rides ? Must be short ones ?

 

If LYFT gives me any trouble and talk about deactivating me or that my account could be suspended, should I be showing them these?

They give me a lot of these. If my acceptance gets too low too consistently will they try pushing me around?

From what they talk about in the Lyft subforum they are saying that they can tolerate laps rides just not cancelled rides. If u accept and then cancel too often they will deactivate you

Too many I think it was 8.5 hours I worked on Friday and it depends if I have the ride ride challenge or not. Last Saturday I did 22 rides in the same time and didn't have the ride challenge. I don't Beleive that's by accident.

 

I do not believe there is any penalty for no accepting rides from the ping (which is far different than cancelling rides after accepting ping).

Sure, you get lots of fun nag-texts and emails from LYFT, but I've never seen any consequences and I do NOT accept any pings >10min away, or from PAX with rating below 4.8. During Weekend Surges, I also do not accept REBEL and PEARL/MERCER st. Pings (even with 50-100% Prime time) as these are almost universally a source of woe to me.

My acceptance rate generally hovers around 66%, as displayed on the LYFT App Dashboard.

I finally got approved for Lyft on Saturday morning - I'm already getting a pile of nag [warnings, texts, emails, etc] about my acceptance rate. Declined a few that were much too long, cancelled one where the ping said 7 minutes and nav on acceptance said 16, and declined a few that kept popping up while I was trying to switch to premium-only mode.

I did 114 uber last week for $1700 and 9 lyft for$200 , two of the 9 were from Pearson, one to Niagara one to Burlington

 

How many hours are you working every day to do 114 rides ? Lot of gas & KMs. $ 1,700 gross I assume ? Can't be driving downtown.

METRO3, considering setting up a desk in front of greenhub to educate drivers about true expenses of rideshare ... people won't share their data, but if you put sign "free tax filing" I'm sure they will line up with all their numbers.

 

Except no one would line up cuz they are all a bunch of scum bags who don't plan on paying any taxes and keeping the hst.
