Lyft says I had a complaint:

"We recently received a report alleging you seemed to be intoxicated or were in possession of a substance while driving on the Lyft platform."

I don't drink or do drugs and will/have called 911 on drunk drivers when I spot them on the road.
I have no idea whats going on, other than a PAX is ****ing with me.

All Lyft has to do is get ahold of the other 10 PAX I've driven today and ask them.
Or they could have had me meet up with one of their employees for a field sobriety check.
But no, they just put my account on hold and are 'investigating'.

Anyone had this happen to them? Wonder how long I'll be on hold and when/if found 'innocent' what if anything they'll do to the shithead PAX for false accusations.

I can’t even begin to understand your anger! Something tells me this is purely a numbers game until it happens to everyone. Lyft is real sht..Maybe you can try calling them to get some answers..do not raise your voice, be humble and listen to everything they say. Take notes! Simply ask what can be done to correct this and block the unknown complainer..btw, whats your rating and approx. ride count?

Yeah, total bullshit PAX.

My rating is 4.93 with a over 1500 rides. Always kudos across the board from nav, friendliness, clean car etc. with lots and lots of positive comments.

Thanks and always deal with this in a level headed manner with Lyft.
Know it's not their fault and they have to believe the PAX so that their ass is covered legally.

But they should do more than just automatically freezing the account.
What wouldn't they call me first? Could at least determine if I was intoxicated or not.

What a pain in the ass. Sure hope they smack down the PAX and boot him/her.

Imagine that I was suspended by Uber because of a flat tire and pax reported me for serious safety concern and car condition!

Still haven't made it down to the Austin office to chat, they reinstated me on Sunday via email.

Today I got my weekly feedback report and found the comment that triggered this BS.

“The car smelled very strongly of alcohol and mints the whole ride. Made me very nauseous.”

How that was twisted into this, I have no idea. "We recently received a report alleging you seemed to be intoxicated or were in possession of a substance while driving on the Lyft platform." - what I got when blocked.

Yes my car smells of mint and alcohol as I use essential oils (Mint - duh) which has a alcohol base as an air freshener.
99.999% of the PAX either don't mind or love it. Many, many +kudos on cars natural not chemical smell.

So one whiny PAX and one Lyft employee that English is not their 1st language cause me to lose money.

Better now than during SX, I guess.

You damn lucky. They didn't force you to pay some unknown outfit to get re-activated?

If it was a busy night, they should be able to contact the pax before and after that ride to check out his story.
Yeah, you would think.
I also explained this to Lyft.
Thing is, they don't care, they just put that driver on hold so that their asses are covered.

Read another guys thread about this happening to him and he found a nearby cop to give him a breathalyzer (passed) and record it in his log.
Lyft didn't care to even reach out to check with police.

They could have you meet up with a senior driver when this happens and have them check you out, but again, not worth their time.
Drivers=Disposable.
