@bigprettygrlswag Maybe all I can do is try. My brother died of bone marrow cancer. The shittiest thing about cancer is that it is curable but almost everything that can cure it is pretty much illegal. Yes I know thats controversial. Best thing you can do is cut out all the artifical preservatives you can and keep your bodies ph level more to the alkaline side versus the acidic side.

My gf and I are trying to set up our own personal businesses so we both can be set. It is hard. But I'm trying to focus on doing what I love. It's a big gamble but screw it I'm going to try. And after seeing a terminal illness kill my brother. If I do end up with cancer or something I'm just going to make the best of my life and live it up until my time is up.

Because I dont want to be alive with hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical debt that I have to be a slave to for the rest of my life. And if my gf, family doesnt matter because we aren't close and I grew up away from them, or friends can't accept that then they have 2 options either let me enjoy my last days or they can opt to pay for all of it. Because I refuse to be a slave for the rest of my life. I dont even care about money. as long as my needs are met I have a place to sleep and food I am fine.

Now if my book makes me millons and I can pay those doctors and not have to pay a bill for the rest of my life just to be alive that's different. I'll give them a bunch of worthless paper in trade to keep me alive.

Thank God! I have a job interview and a meeting with a new recruiter this week. I pray this is it. I guess that free premium trial on LinkedIn worked after all. Anyone else have good job news to share?

Not sure how you feel about selling your book in an online format, but if you have not already heard about Amazon KDP Select http://kdp.amazon.com/ , I would start with that. It is very simple to get it online and I have done this before (although just for fun), but I have made a little bit of money in the past couple of years. The process is pretty self explanatory, and you will be published on Amazon.com. (The biggest marketplace for books).

Anyways, probably the best thing about it (for less known writers) they started this "Kindle Unlimited and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library" where Kindle owners can "checkout" books for free. (Others who pay for it will pay what every price you determine) Every time someone downloads your book "for free", you are paid a percentage of the monthly fund that is divided by how many books are downloaded through the program. When I first did it, it was at $1 million/month. Now it is up to $11 million/month. Your not going to get $20 every time someone downloads, but you will get a couple of dollars, and trust me, if your book is any good, you will get discovered as they can rate your book, and leave reviews, and this will count towards your sales rank on Amazon, bringing your book higher into searches. (Obviously most people sort books by "top rated".) If your book gains enough traction, you can withdraw it from the Kindle program and only charge whatever you want, or better yet, get picked up by a publisher that will take care of printing, as I am sure they are scouting new authors through this program. They would be foolish not to.

Good luck to you and your book.

This was the route I was going to go. Put as an ebook through amazon. I think amazon has a process where you can by a book, a physical one, but it's only printed when it's ordered and comes out of the price of the book.

My wife has like 3 books in a series done and I'm trying get her to sell them on Amazon. It's excellent exposure.
