What we saw last night is where it really should be when you calculate the ratio of drivers to pax, especially at big events like the concert at the SM Pier.

Yeah but what about the evening in OC???

Nothing much going on there, except perhaps technical glitches....looks like Uber is switching back to 2D circle pings with pickup addresses? Or was that another glitch???

Although....had an early evening cancel at what turned out to be a high school (dang 3D ping confused me), there seemed to be a MASSIVE crowd there...might be pre-graduation ceremonies or some such nonsense????

Assuming that's true, are these really the ONLY engineers in Silicon Valley who can run the app? Fire them and get new blood.

In theory, a surge makes pax angry to the point of them saying "f this, im calling Lyft" only numbers can prove this, which uber has.

Not really.

Not much Plus pingage on Lyft, and also some coastal areas on Lyft habitually out surged Uber for a good chunk of time

I get an annoying amount of John Wayne and Costa Mesa/Newport out of LAX DFs... sure they usually ping again to HB or something, but it reaaaaallly messes with cherrypicking surge
