I dont have to experiment with working only airport to let you know that you wont make as mucb just driving the city and go where the rides take you.

Alot of those drivers working only Airport are mostly Uber SUV/black drivers because 2 or 3 good runs will probably make for a good day. Alot of great rides come from the airport ut there are great rides everywhere. The goal is to get a long ride out of the airport with a quick return ride back to maxamize profits. Giving someone a ride to Carlsbad just to drive back to the airport to give another ride up there isnt gonna be the most profitable decision.

I think alot of these Airport drivers just like to have an easy day and arent trying to maxamize profits. Im sure they make decent money but if your one looking to maxamize profits then thats not the way to go.

I give many airport rides throughout the week to and from but rarely do I wait in the Q for a ride unless I need to take a bathroom break or its surging and requests are coming in.
